It has great story, characters, gameplay, and music. I really thought the pre-rendered backgrounds were beautiful and creative back in the day. Even when I was a little kid I felt strong emotions at certain parts. I really felt sad at the part where Naniki found out about his dad.

I got my opinion from taking Environmental economics in college. I felt this way after taking this class back in 2005. I learned how it actually worked as opposed to these morons on tv who have no idea what they are talking about.
THere were repetitive parts, but you could go through those parts pretty quickly. The concept was great and it is different than anything out there. I wouldnt say its perfect, but I think alot of people expected too much. A few improvements to the game and it would be amazing.
My main problem with it was how easy it was. there was no other difficulty to set it on. Part of teh reason it was repetitive was because you were never really required to sneak.

I really want some more original side scrollers like this. Last free game I tried was CAVE STORY. I loved it, and would love for original games like that to be on consoles for download instead of all these rehashes.
